It goes without saying that it is extremely important to stay fit and healthy at all times. Yoga is probably the most beneficial of all exercises. The benefits of yoga are manifold as it not only helps us lose calories but also helps to purge our mind of the stress and the tensions of day to day life. Yoga had emerged in India in the ancient times and is now prevalent throughout the world.
What’s more, people all around the world have introduced new and improved and different styles of yoga which are equally helpful and fun!! Let us take a look at the very new and improved styles of yoga which has made working out doubly fun!
- Mommy and baby Yoga
Like is said before, yoga helps to help strengthen our mind. The mommy and baby yoga helps to strengthen the bond between a mother and a child. It is also known to help the baby with its motor skills and will also help in the overall cognitive development of the baby.
- Tantrum yoga
We had always known yoga was a kind of meditation which should be done peacefully. But this new types of yoga involves vocal exercises and dance along with the usual postures. You are encouraged to scream and stomp around to relieve your stress.
- Aerial yoga
This is one of the most common forms of yoga that is prevalent today. These, however, require a certain amount of expertise as it is done on anti-gravity hammocks made of silk. It involves the proper principles of aerial arts and is fused with Yoga postures to complete the whole regime.
- Doga or Dog Yoga
If your pet is, in fact, your best friend, then there is truly no better way to enjoy with your beloved pet. This type of Yoga involves meditation, stretching and even massage for you as well as your dogs. They seem to be enjoying these sessions too!
- Beer yoga
This might sound like something of a joke but it is actually not. Apparently, this is very popular and involves the full yoga principles. The specialists combine yoga meditation and alcohol to reach the highest level of consciousness.
- Equine yoga
You could take our horse out to an open area to practice your yoga along with the horse. It includes breathing and stretching exercises. Some of the exercises can be done while riding the horse itself.
- Yoga raves
this is very interesting. Instead of getting into drugs and alcohol, the part=goers first practice some classic yoga moves and eventually, it becomes a full-blown party!
- Paddle-board yoga
These sessions are done in water on a paddleboard. This helps to achieve greater balance and also observe only slight movement while performing yoga.
- Cannabis yoga
Now you have a proper excuse to get high. Following some ancient Hindu mythology, the people are encouraged to get high before going into yoga and meditation.
- Karaoke yoga
this is the most interesting of all yoga types. Many emotionally and melodious songs by various artists are played and the people are encouraged to sing along while performing the yoga.
